Service Information
Clinical lead: Dr Sandeep Singh Randhawa
Our urology service is led by a GP with Extended Role in Urology, supported by a team of consultants, other GPs with extended roles and healthcare assistants.
Our service treats women with urinary symptoms including recurrent UTI and a wide range of men’s health issues, supported by in house testing including direct scan access and flexible cystoscopy.
Inclusion Criteria
- – Women with urinary symptoms (including recurrent UTI)
- Men with Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms
- Male Urinary tract infections
- Haematospermia
- Minor inguinoscrotal and penile conditions: Hydrocele, Varicocele, Phimosis, Epididymal cyst
- Scrotal skin conditions (e.g.: sebaceous cyst)
- Chronic testicular pain (NOT suspected torsion)
- Andrology problems: Erectile dysfunction, Premature ejaculation, Peyronie’s disease
Exclusion Criteria
- Any suspected cancer and haematuria
- Acute urological conditions: Testicular torsion, Urinary retention, Renal colic
- All other urological conditions not mentioned in the inclusion criteria

Referral method
- Referrals should be made using the standard referral template, emailed to modality.urology@nhs.net
